Biogeography Branch Projects
The Biogeography Branch evolved from a Living Marine Resource mapping program that began in NOAA in 1978. The initial focus of mapping species distributions in coastal waters has evolved into characterizing coastal species distributions, their habitats and the coupling of species and their habitats.
Below is a listing of projects. Please contact Mark Monaco, Ph.D. (Mark.Monaco@noaa.gov or 301-713-3028 ext 160) if you have questions or would like to discuss these projects.
